1. General Principles

Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund or other remedy if a service (in this case, a Joinr event) is not provided with due care and skill, is not fit for a particular purpose that you made known to us, or is not delivered within a reasonable time where there is no agreed-upon time.

2. Cancellations by Joinr

If Joinr cancels an event for any reason, you are entitled to a full refund of the ticket price. We will notify you of the cancellation as soon as possible and process your refund within 7 business days of the cancellation announcement.

3. Cancellations by You

Due to our commitment to running small, curated events, tickets are generally non-refundable if you are unable to attend. This policy helps us cover fixed costs with our providers and ensures a consistent experience for all attendees.

However, we understand that plans can change. To be as accommodating as possible, we offer the following:

Ticket Transfers: If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person. You are responsible for coordinating this transfer and providing us with the new attendee's details.
Medical or Compassionate Grounds: In the event of a serious illness or other compassionate circumstances, please contact us directly. We will review such cases on an individual basis.

4. Force Majeure

Joinr is not responsible for event cancellations or modifications due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including, but not limited to, natural disasters, extreme weather events, or public health emergencies. In such cases, we will work with our partners to reschedule the event. If the event cannot be rescheduled, a refund may be offered at our discretion.

5. No-Show Policy

If you register and pay for an event but do not attend without prior notice, you will not be entitled to a refund. Your payment is considered a commitment to attend, which helps us manage event logistics and ensures a positive experience for everyone else.
